The MD of Smoky River is considering to withdrawl some regional shared service agreements with the town of Falher.
Both councils are reviewing the agreements and possible motions, which include FCSS, Libraries, the Pool, Economic Development, the Transport program and the Health Professional Attraction and Retention Committee.
The possible suggestion is due to ongoing financial challenges, including $7.4 million dollars in unpaid oil and gas taxes to the MD.
Public feedback for both jurisdictions are always encouraged.
