The High Prairie School Division’s annual Fill a School Bus Food Drive saw remarkable success last Friday, November 28 — and by the end of the day, they filled the bus.
The community once again demonstrated its generosity, coming together to support the High Prairie and District Food Bank Society at a time when local need remains significant. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to donate and say hello, the campaign collected:
1,212 lbs of food
$695 in cash donations
Organizers shared their appreciation for the strong turnout, noting that the event continues to reflect the spirit of cooperation within the High Prairie region.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Freson Bros. in High Prairie for their ongoing support. The store prepared convenient pre-made $20 food bags, making it easy for shoppers to contribute essential items.
With another successful Fill a School Bus drive complete, the High Prairie School Division extends sincere thanks to all donors, volunteers, and community partners for helping make a meaningful difference for local families.
