The Alberta government has announced several highway and bridge projects for the upcoming fiscal year, pending approval of the provincial budget.

Key projects include work on the Peace River Bridge, the Dunvegan Bridge, the Tompkins Landing Bridge near Paddle Prairie, and Highway 686 between Peerless and Fort McMurray.

While these initiatives aim to enhance transportation infrastructure across the province, specific timelines for their completion have not been provided.

The proposed budget allocates over $8.5 billion for transportation infrastructure over the next three years, with more than $4 billion dedicated to rural projects.

The approval of the budget will determine the commencement and progression of these critical infrastructure developments.
