Water service has now been restored to the community of Eaglesham following repairs to the water mainline.
However, crews will continue working to locate another connection in the same section of the line that will be replaced as a preventative measure to reduce the risk of additional issues. Water service will remain on at a reduced pressure while crews locate this connection.
Once the connection is located, a planned water shutdown of approximately six hours will be required to safely complete the repair. Locating the connection may take some time and could occur within the next couple of days.
As a reminder, a Boil Water Order remains in place for affected residents until further notice.
